This publication, prepared by the State Representative Platform of People with Physical Disabilities (PREDIF) with the support of the Royal Board on Disability, constitutes a practical tool so that professionals in cultural, leisure or tourism services can design and develop events and activities accessible to all people. After a brief review of the regulatory framework of application, it describes the characteristics and needs of people with different types of disabilities to be able to participate in cultural life on equal terms with the rest of the citizens. Below, a series of guidelines are provided for the organization of plays, visits to museums or other accessible events, taking into consideration aspects such as information and communication, ticket sales, accessibility to facilities, access to the contents and technical means, access to exhibition contents, and the technological tools available, among others. Finally, some recommendations are provided to appropriately care for people with disabilities in establishments. The aim is to raise awareness among professionals in the sector and society in general and promote the development of inclusive practices in culture and leisure.
