Summary:

This sheet is part of the series “10 sheets on cognitive accessibility by right”.
Cognitive accessibility is included in universal accessibility.
People, in our daily lives, have to orient ourselves and find our way in cities, buildings, streets and highways, using public transportation, etc. Many times the environment in which we find ourselves is not familiar, we are there for the first time and we have to find our objective without the help of a previously acquired mental map (Martin, 2002).
Wayfinding Design for all people considers diversity, involves communicating with the environment in the most intuitive and simple way possible, and also takes into account sensory stimulation.
