Summary:

ONCE Foundation, the Royal Board of Trustees on Disability and CRUE Spanish Universities have worked together to define the competencies in terms of Universal Accessibility and Design for All that must be incorporated into the university’s training curricula, so that health professionals can future take into account the needs of people with disabilities, the elderly and other groups at risk of social exclusion in the design of spaces, products and services. The present study shows the state of implementation of these aspects in university curricula, exploring all the disciplines addressed in the different publications, although focusing especially on those whose guides were published first: Architecture, Design, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineer, Roads, Canals and Ports Engineer and Industrial Engineer (whose guides were published in 2010), to which Psychology is added.
