“This research has been carried out by ASEP with the objectives indicated below, within the framework of the Operational Program to Fight Discrimination 2007-2013, with co-financing from the European Social Fund (ESF). Its realization took place in the last months of 2012. Ms. María Morenos Paéz, graduate in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), and Dr. Juan Díez Nicolás, Emeritus Professor of Sociology of the UCM and President of ASEP, S. A. This research is part of the Por Talento program of the ONCE Foundation, as an Intermediate Organization during the 2007-2013 programming period of the Operational Program to Fight Discrimination, co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). The main objective is to develop research on the perception of people with disabilities in the Eurobarometer, in order to reorient and/or enhance, if necessary, awareness-raising and dissemination activities, as well as as an instrument for inclusion of disability indicators in future structural funds”.
