Improvement obtained: “Almost a third of the Autocares Cabranes fleet already has some type of system that facilitates access on board and more than 15% of it incorporates PMR (Reduced Mobility Platforms). In this sense, the latest coach presented at the 61st edition of FIDMA last August is at the forefront of accessibility, incorporating the latest advances in this matter as well as comfort equipment for the extra traveler. In addition, ASPAYM wanted to recognize the communication channels made available to all our clients, who can consult our reduced mobility services in a personalized way or request the availability of accessible equipment in our Your Budget area, when preparing their services."

Description of the performance / Activity:

“… the award ceremony for the ninth ASPAYM Awards was held at the Higher School of Art of the Principality of Asturias, resulting in Autocares Cabranes being awarded the accessibility in means of transport award for its Accessible Tourism project.

These awards seek to recognize the effort and contribution that different actors in society make in favor of universal accessibility in fields such as architecture, innovation, design or information technologies. And on this occasion, Autocares Cabranes’ project regarding accessible fleet equipment and communication channels with its clients has been awarded in its category.”
