Description of the performance / Activity:
The APR (Robotic Personal Assistant) project aims to develop a mobile robotic assistant that can move easily in a home environment or in a work environment. The initial idea of the APR project was to develop telepresence functions that would allow a person with a disability to connect to an APR robot that was in their work environment and thus maintain contact with their colleagues through the development of the telepresence concept.
With this new prototype, the Indra-Adecco Foundation Research Chair in Accessible Technologies at the University of Lleida makes a new tool available to society and companies to facilitate the labor integration of people with disabilities.
