Description of the performance / Activity:
The objective of “Urbanitas”, an employment project that is possible thanks to the involvement of the ONCE Foundation and the Community of Madrid, is to collaborate with the Public Administration in compliance with the Law for the Promotion of Accessibility and Suppression of Architectural Barriers, since It is still estimated that in the Community of Madrid around 53% of public services and buildings are not 100% accessible.
To do this, ASPACE Madrid has hired 4 people with cerebral palsy, who, accompanied by two job coaches, will observe and record the architectural barriers that prevent them from participating as active citizens in 10 municipalities of the Community of Madrid.
