Description:

This European Standard provides rules on how to apply EN 81-70 with respect to section 5.2.1 (1) of EN 81-80:2003, relating to existing lifts to improve their accessibility for people, including those with disabilities.

This European standard applies to permanently installed elevators, serving defined floor levels, with a cabin intended for the transport of people or people and goods, and moving between guides with an inclination of no more than 15º above the vertical.
