Information and communications technologies (ICT) constitute the basis of the information society. The lack of accessibility of ICT-based products and services constantly hinders the access of people with disabilities and other groups at risk of exclusion to the information society. Accessibility is a characteristic that benefits all citizens, although it is usually the lack of it that makes us aware of its importance. Hence, some population groups, such as people with disabilities, are the main victims of the lack of accessibility, specifically in the online environment.
