The Decalogue of Good Practices in Tourist Accessibility for tourist accommodation and restaurants has become a tool of undoubted value for the sector. It is for this reason that the Secretary of State for Tourism has considered expanding this Decalogue to other areas of special relevance in the chain of the tourist experience for people with disabilities and reduced mobility. The initiative and writing of this Decalogue of Good Practices in Tourist Accessibility is inspired by the principles of Design for All and full equality of opportunities, included in Law 51/2003, of December 2, on equal opportunities, non-discrimination and Universal accessibility for people with disabilities.
