“The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the rules that guarantee to all people the non-discriminatory, independent and safe use of the buildings and urbanized public spaces of the municipality, of the modes of transport and of the technologies, information products and services. communication of municipal competence, in order to make effective equal opportunities and universal accessibility.
This Ordinance completes and specifies at the municipal level, the applicable regional and state regulations regarding accessibility. The general objective is to achieve a municipality open to all. An accessible built environment that allows participation without exclusion of people with disabilities in daily life, leisure and culture.”
