Summary:
The objective of this document is to analyze the regulations related to accessibility; both the legal regulations, which are mandatory, and the technical norms or standards developed by national or international standardization organizations, whose compliance is not mandatory. In recent decades there has been extensive development in these two types of regulations, however, the challenge persists of ensuring that the budgets stipulated in them have a real benefit for people with disabilities, because the laws are complied with effectively and because products meet the requirements of a design for everyone.
